Do you play any other instruments besides the guitar?

No, but I do arrange for other instruments. I think I have a very good ear for placement of sound within the circle of music that I am creating. I can hear arrangements of instrumentation before it is played out.

If you could play any other instrument, what would it be?

In my heart of hearts I would not want to play any other instrument. However, if I looked at it from a career prospective I would have to say piano. It is the perfect instrument to complete arrangements and they make more money than the rest of us cats.

What do you do in your free time with your music?

For me free time is not in my vocabulary. I own and operate a health and wellness center and martial arts school. My day starts at 5am and is over at about 9 or 9:30pm at which time I go home and practice on my guitar for about 1 hour, sometimes more, and then I may spend another hour working on songs and recording.

How would you describe your music to a person who has never heard one of your songs?

I never liked giving descriptions of my music to anyone; I like to let them hear it and ask them – what did you hear? It is very interesting to hear what people say about my music. For me it has always given me balance. When I play it is like being transformed. It has a calming effect on me and others have experienced the same. The energy that flows through the guitar is my life force and anyone that listens with their heart can hear every word.

Is there a certain place or location you find inspirational?

I close my eyes and take a breath and as I release that breath I hear the sound of my heart beat and with every beat I am inspired to move to perfection. There is no greater inspiration then that which comes from the soul, because we are all one soul on one earth within one universe.

What's on your iPod/mp3 player right now?

I don't own an iPod or mp3 player. However, I have decided that when I get one I will put my lessons on it.

What lessons?

Well, I have voice and theory – history and philosophy and a host of other learning experiences that I would love to have around me when ever the opportunity presents itself.
