Your new maxi-single release is a tantalizing sample of your talent
and style. What are your feelings now, as you find yourself on the
brink of true stardom?

I feel very excited and anxious to receive this opportunity to be able to showcase my talent and do what I feel I was born to do, which is to entertain. My passion and love for performing has always been a huge part of my life growing up and I feel honored to finally have this chance to pursue my dream. I truly feel this will be an experience of a lifetime.

What kind of a timeline are you looking at for the release of your
first full-length CD?

We should be finishing up the last few tracks, shortly. I want to be true to myself in my selections of “originals” and “covers” as I feel I am in this “maxi-single” release.

You were born in Japan, but raised largely in New Jersey, where you
currently live. How has that blending of cultural influences affected
where you want to be today, musically speaking?

Growing up in New Jersey I was exposed to a variety of music ranging from Pop, R&B and Rock. While in Japan, I was exposed to similar styles of Pop, Jazz and R&B. I feel that my strong ties to the Japanese culture mixed with my American culture has given me a unique blend in my style and sound which has made me the versatile artist I am today.

Your list of musical influences is quite varied, as evidenced by the
songs you've chosen for this first release. Is there one artist in
particular who you look upon as your biggest inspiration to date?

Various artists and styles have definitely influenced me. However, I feel that my strongest influence to date would be Madonna because to me she is a true entertainer who is constantly reinventing herself to stay alive in the industry. She is a true Pop Icon in every sense. What I admire the most about her is her accomplishments for being a singer, song-writer, entertainer, dancer, actress, producer, author, fashion designer & entrepreneur. She has truly inspired me to one day be able to accomplish these goals for myself as well.

In addition to your singing, you're quite a talented dancer, having
studied a number of different styles so far. What is your current
favorite style of dance?

My current favorite style of dance is definitely hip hop. I feel that this particular style best suits my personality. Hip hop to me is a face paced, energetic, high level style of dance which also describes me as a performer.

Where would you like to find yourself, career-wise, five years from
now?

In five years from now I hope to have a successful career in music. My goal is to be able to perform worldwide. Hopefully I will get the opportunity to perform in Japan one day. I would also like to have completed a few albums with hopefully some major chart topping hits. I would like to perform on the Grammy Awards as well as other top music award ceremony shows. My goal is to also pursue a career in acting as well as creating my own fashion line.
